I still genuflect before receiving on the tongue. Remember Father John allowed kneeling to receive. I remember doing that a few times with him as our priest. We need to go back to the communion rails/kneelers!
In HI there's a suggestion that we shouldn't receive on the tongue as the flu is making its rounds here . . . the priest on base didn't mind. Anyway, this was great coverage!!
At St. Augustines, we were asked before Mass started to remain standing after receiving . . . it was so awkward. I want to kneel and pray, not stay standing. But . . . I noticed old timers still kneel after . . . from now on I will, too.
I can't tell you how long I've waited to hear this!!!! I could scream and do a jig (but I might fall on my "you know what").
This is definitely as it should be!
