Dawn - I read a piece on Red Cardigan's blog (some time in late 2007, I think) about the HP books and in the comments two or three folks compared the banality of the HP books with that of the poorly written, awful book "Father Elijah" by O'Brien. Let me know if you have problems navigating it (writing style, themes etc.). Thanks.
