One Party Control = Out of Control Party = America Suffers

If Barack Obama wins the White House on November 4th, the Democratic party will hold both the Congress and The White House. Now this may sound great for Dem's everywhere, but it's really not great for Americans at all.

The Framers of the Constitution deliberately set up our government so that no one branch would have exclusive power and thereby the opportunity to rule with an iron fist. They created three branches of government; the Legislative branch makes the law, the Executive branch executes the law and the Judicial branch interprets the law. Each branch has an effect on the other.

This Separation of Powers provides a system of shared powers known as Checks and Balances. By design, the various branches are forced to be accountable to one another and no on branch can commandeer enough power to become dominant.

It has happened in the past and the results have not been good. Bill Clinton and a Democratic congress, in 1993-1994, passed and signed the largest tax increases in the history of the world. In 2002, Bush and the Republican congress passed and signed massive tax cuts, that at first seemed to help the economy but were ultimately responsible for the massive deficit we have now. A two party government demands that the President and the Congress work together in a system of bargaining.

I don't know why so many people don't get this! My husband and I are amazed at how many don't even see this as a problem. Thanks for posting about it!

Remember School House Rock? This stuff was a staple for after school kids when I was growing up. They don't teach it in school anymore because if you know, you might do something about it. Spread the word. As a homeschooling mom, I understand that we just don't always see the simple answer right in front of us.
Talk to everyone you know, now. Before the election. Spread the word. With love.

lol. Here I am about to post on your blog and I see you have left a couple of comments at my blog. I have read this twice now and it is great. I hope many people realize how bad it will be for America if Obama gets in.

Checks and balances...yes, that is what it is all about...the only truly fair way...that is that we can get as "earthly human beings," trying to make a decent country!
May God be with us as we fall more on our knees!
