That's A Wrap

Another week down. We finally have a pool in our back yard. Right now it is only 3/4 of the way full. I turned the water off yesterday, unloaded the rain barrels (saved me 220 gallons of city water) and will finish it off this afternoon.
I'd finish this morning, but I have to take the girls to Young Marines and I don't want any over flow!

We also built the first stage of our deck. It's just a rectangle right now. We will put up a railing eventually and move the spa out there and off the back porch. There is much left to be done, but it is coming a long. I am going to get a blue chip today so I can take some pictures. I took some with my sons camera, but you have to wait for the pics to be developed..so that will be a bit.

Prayers are requested for my oldest. He's very seriously considering the Priesthood. He's only 15, but he's never quite been this serious about it. So if all you prayer warriors out there could ask Our Lady to bless his heart that would be beautiful.

That's a wrap for me this week.
Blessings!

Sounds like a very busy week to me.
I am contemplating getting my shoes on and going out to take pictures of this village. May have more up tonight.
Enjoy the pool.

I will pray for him, for sure. You know here's a prayer off a card I got at Divine Mercy Shrine:

O Lord, help me to know your will for me. Let your light shine in the depths of my heart that I may know what you want me to do with my life. Help me to believe that you have a special plan for me. Lord, I know I pass through this life only once; help me to decide how you want me to serve you. If you are calling me to the priesthood or to the consecrated life, give me the strength to say, "yes" to your will. Like our Blessed Mother, give me the wisdom to hear your voice and the courage to answer your call. I offer this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Oh, I grabbed that card for Crickles, who is also discerning. And he's only 11 (and felt the call at 9). Yes, it can happen young. We just need to protect their innocence as much as we can - don't let the world blur their sight.

I love you, Dawn. You are a bright spot in my life, friend.

If God were to choose your son as an Alter Christi...o what a blessed mama!

Have prayed that one of my sons hears the call.

God bless him in his discernment!
