Spent the last 4 days at St. Simons and Jekyll Islands. Two of Georgia's best beaches. I went down their with my daughters. Dropped one off at a retreat and took the younger to the beach. We partook of the sun just a bit too much on day 1 and payed the price the rest of the week. 6 hours on St. Simons, riding waves, playing in the sand, collecting shells and taking pictures. Before we knew it we were as red as the Georgia clay!
We spent some time on Jekyll, saw a 3 foot shark and decided that the ocean was not for us that day. No problem..there are plenty of nature trails, a Sea turtle center and a water park. We ended our day riding the waves in the Frantic Atlantic at the water park. Cool.
