Almost There!

In more ways than one. The babies room is just about ready for furniture. I've purchased a crib

and just picked up the mattress today. Still no bedding, one thing at a time. :) I've still got some time.

I need a dresser or something to store clothing. We are working on that right now..not sure what we want to do for storage. It's been such a long time since I went baby shopping. It's absolutely overwhelming! I've picked up things here and there for family members and friends, but I haven't set up a nursery in over 10 years! I get exhausted just walking through the doors at these baby store warehouses.

I'm anxiously awaiting the birth of Leo, over at A Half-dozen Productions. Should be any day now!

Just found out another good friend is expecting. It's nice to be among these women who are such wonderful mom's. They are font's of knowledge and advice.

I'll take some pics of the nursery once it's put together. Or at least, as put together as I can get it. We still have to finish up some painting of the trim and molding and get the door on.

I can't wait to meet his little guy.

Keeping you and the little guy in my prayers.

How I remember the excitement and anticipation:) I love the crib you picked out. Does it grow into a toddler bed also? I saw a nice one at Costco the other day. Almost made me wish I were young enough, still:)

Thank you all for your prayers! @ Patti- yeah right! Sitting around, I wish! :)
@ Gramma2Many - it does turn to a daybed and then a full sized headboard. It should be around a while.
